Topic : What has Gaia done for us (that’s the ESA Gaia mission, not the Greek goddess!).
This space telescope was switched off earlier this year after a 10 year plus mission. Although the observation phase has ended the data analysis continues.
So, what have we learned so far from Gaia and what will future data tell us.

Nick was going to be giving the next presentation on the 29th. Unfortunately he is now unable to attend and has had to cancel.

Nick will talk about “Exploring Asteroids”. He will explore ways in which we can get information about them and also what that tells us about the formation of the Solar System.
